This is my first type design project, a scholar one.
My original idea was to create a font to improve legibility of guitar tabs, but at the end I had to design a font to be read in small sizes and adverse conditions and a variant, Tessitura TAB — still in process—, to create the complete tablature while you type.
Tessitura has a Latin one set, includes tabular numbers and fractions, and has a basic family: bold, italic and regular.
Thanks to the fact that it was designed to provide superior readability in bodies of between six and nine points, even in low light conditions and at a considerable distance is an excellent choice as a source for small-sized query texts and adverse printing conditions.
