Ouroboros
is a modern symbol originating from the Ancient Egyptian iconography, depicting a snake or a dragon swallowing its own tail. This symbolizes introspection, eternal cyclicality (the "vicious circle", as Alan Watts calls it), life and death and nature's creation and destruction. In light of this symbol these images aspire to represent an impossible cycle.
