Expo Sanatate

Markt Creative was commissioned to create a visual identity for Expo Sanatate’s 2017 fair in Parscov, Buzau. Expo Sanatate is a regular educational and interactive event held in various places around the country to provide basic medical screening and tips on health, nutrition and lifestyle.
Expo Sanatate was designed around the idea that there are eight basic health factors which, if managed well, generate health. The eight factors are Sunlight, Fresh Air, Adequate Hydration, Exercise, Proper Sleep, Good Nutrition, Temperance and Emotional/Spiritual Management.
Markt designed a symbol by cutting a circle in 8 parts (the eight factors converging together to generate health) and building the word EXPO from the resulting pattern. We used the symbol to create posters and flyers for the event using bright colours to communicate the idea of health, optimism and enthusiasm.
