    A re-branding of sugar market leader Taikoo Sugar, under the Swire group. The idea was to recreate the brand identity and its commodity sugar packaging into a clear representation of its history and staying in line with the company's brand values. Including, Heritage, Authenticity, Education, Quality and Integrity. The idea for the logo derives from the original sugar refinery once located in Quarry Bay. The packaging derives from the mix of Eastern and Western culture during the Hong Kong's colonization by the British. The style refers to traditional western pen and ink drawings while the subject matter is a mandarin orange. It has great significance in Chinese culture where it represent good fortune and is normally used as offerings as well as its importance during Chinese New Year. Read Less
