Armenia World Fact Book Process

For this project I was asked to re-brand Armenia Country Tourism Office. The goal is to produce a consistent brand identity that best delivers country’s complex cultural and historical heritage. Through out this semester-long project, I produced a research-driven moodboard, a logo, a brand guideline, a mailer, a poster and eventually a factbook, while keeping the target audience in mind. My persona is a backpacker of 20-25 years old who comes to Armenia as part of a trip through the Middle East. An adventurous and energetic person, he/she is particularly interested in historical architecture, old civilizations, the outdoors and off-the-beaten path experiences. Thus, the goal of all designs is to generate a good readability for such large amount of text and a dynamic visual language through the use of typography, photography and the grid. The final products of this project are presented in both print and web format. 
The goal of this Speed Poster Challenge is to create an educational poster about the country that displays the hierarchy of information with visual intrigue and a good reading flow. Size, color, value, type, balance, rhythm, grid are crucial design elements to achieve an organizational rigor and design integrity.
