Delphi: Sponsored Project

For Delphi's Sponsored Project at CCS, I worked, in a team of 3, to develop an autonomous vehicle system for a multi-generational family based in Cascadia.
Below is a video of our entire process for creating an autonomous vehicle system for Delphi. From research, presentations, sketching, prototyping and final production.
The core of our vehicle system is camping.
Our goal was to create an all terrain camping vehicle that would accommodate all of the families needs, from the city to the forest. We were, after all, assigned the mega-region of Cascadia: the Pacific Northwest.
Below is our owner's manual for our vehicle system.
Here is a peek at the interior of our vehicle, designed to act as a tent on wheels.
Our vehicle system hosted an AI named "Scout."
With Scout we utilized voice activation, both inside and outside of the vehicle.
Our autonomous vehicle system featured 2 companion features.
Below you will see, first, The Badge which works as a key for the vehicle, a field guide and hosts our AI system, Scout.
The Badge acts as a field guide to your surroundings.
For The Badge, we designed minimal interfaces that used physical gestures and light patterns to respond or interact with the user.
These light interfaces carried over into the inside of our vehicle.
The second companion feature, to our vehicle system, is The Backpack which comes equipped in every vehicle.
Anytime you call upon one of our autonomous vehicles, using The Badge, you are able to customize the contents of The Backpack according to your plans for the day.
The Backpack gave us a chance to partner with numerous food and product companies as you can see below.
Below is a video of our vehicle system's Experience Share feature.
Using The Badge, the user can capture an image of an object or even an experience. This can be shared from Badge to Badge, but to witness the full immersive effect of the shared Experience the user can view the Experience inside of the vehicle.
Below is a video of our final presentation for our autonomous vehicle system.
