I am intrigued by the tragic beauty of loss and vacancy, and how they inform domestic interiors. I am also interested in how memory defines who we are. In the absence of objects and people from memories, where am I? Do I even exist anymore? The overwhelming presence of that which is absent is represented by a large, out-of-context drawing of a goldfish collaged onto a wallpapered wall. I envision a series of collages in a vacant house, each room with a different drawing of goldfish.
