This was a logo redesign and website creation project during my Graphic Design program. The objective was to take a small or little known company and re-brand them. I chose a place close to my heart, Crucial Coffee in St. Augustine, FL. This quaint cafe didn't even have a website to really branch out from so it really let me open up and explore my take on the cafe and what their website could look like. I originally went with a more chalked stroke style but after deliberation from my Professor, I took his advice and went with more clean and simple line work. I felt this decision gave the cafe a slightly more modern feel but in keeping with their comfortable atmosphere. I also created all the menu items myself, that is one part of the project I really enjoyed. I included the initial preliminary drafts and explorations to demonstrate my thought process behind this fun re-brand, which you can find at the very bottom.
