    The LEGACY FONTS are an example of how technological restraints can serve as a source for design investigation and exploration. The design morphed from a high resolution typeface to a restricted bitmap font. The resulting LEGACY FONTS convey a modular yet crude style, reminiscent of the early computer technology era by injecting contemporary typefaces into the native OS9 system of the Classic Macintosh. Each typeface was converted into a now obsolete early postscript file and then run with the native OS9 operation system of a functioning 1993 Macintosh Quadra 610. The fonts that make up the typeface are created from the resolution of screen fonts displayed at different point sizes showing different degrees of distortion through the digital display. Read Less
