[LOCALAH] TRAVEL ADAPTATION GUIDEBOOK (Beta Ver.)

[Localah] is a series of travel adaptation guidebook that published based on different countries with the focus placed on the local living styles, taboos and cultural practices. The contents were presented in the way of sarcasm and humor sentences with illustrations. [Localah] was published specified for Malaysia. [Localah] brought the meaning of localisation, and “lah” is the discourse particle that normally used by Malaysian. For other countries version, different countries will get a different title with the same translated meaning of “localah”.

[Localah] 不是一本旅遊書，是本入鄉隨俗概念手冊。因為它不會告訴你馬來西亞哪裡好吃好玩好住。這是一道你來馬來西亞玩必備的護身符兼收驚符，因為裡面寫的都是讓你來馬來西亞不會誤犯禁忌被人家打的一些小事。這本書的主要內容的敘述方式，偏向幽默風趣夾雜一點諷刺韻味。調侃生活奇葩光景，卻讓你覺得，有點道理。我們希望看見每位願意拿起這本書的大家，翻閱時的會心一笑。

概念上，書名將會隨着出版的國家而改變，依當地的語言和說話方式翻譯 "localah" 的意思。[Localah] 是馬來西亞版，將來會編寫其他國家版本的入鄉隨俗手冊，讓每個到訪的旅客，可以以當地人的角度，親身體驗在地旅遊的樂趣和避免文化衝擊。

[Localah] has 3 parts in total : Basic Travelling Information, Do-As-The-Local-Do Guide and Departure From Malaysia.

Before part 1 start, there are few travel detail sections for the travellers to plan their trip. Part 1 is mainly provide the basic travelling info for the travellers. Contents including the Visa information, Contact method of the foreign missions and essential information such as the best time to visit Malaysia, weather, method to getting around, etc.

[Localah]全書分為3個部分：基本旅遊資訊(Basic Travelling Information)，入鄉隨俗指南(Do-As-The-Local-Do Guide)，從馬來西亞出發(Departure From Malaysia)

基本旅遊資訊：
除了引導你去計劃你的大馬之旅，還有一些大馬出入境資訊和大馬旅行基本概念。

Part 2 talks about how the locals live and cultural taboos so that the travellers don’t have culture shock when they stay in Malaysia.

入鄉隨俗指南：
告訴你什麼事在大馬不能做，什麼事在大馬比吃飯還要平常，什麼事在大馬人盡皆知笑掉大牙可是我們還是沒有改變它...等會讓你會心一笑的芝麻綠豆。

Part 3 provides the information of how to travel to the neigbour countries from Malaysia. This allowed the travellers to choose the travel way that suit themselves by comparing the travel duration, comfortably and travel budget.

從馬來西亞出發：
告訴你如何從馬來西亞出發到鄰國（新加坡，泰國，印尼，汶萊），助你理出適合自己的省錢旅遊方式。

[Localah] Key Visual 主視覺

[Localah] key visual design used the motifs and pattern design of the book cover. The motifs and pattern of the book cover is the combination of the motifs and pattern of Malaysia ethnics. These represent the beauty and harmony of Malaysia's multi-cultural lifestyle.

主視覺延用書封面的圖樣設計。封面結合當地的代表性圖樣，想要帶出該國家不同生活方式的融合。

[Localah] 現階段只有馬來西亞版，馬來西亞版封面由各種族的花樣圖騰結合，裡頭包括馬來人，華人，印度人，峇峇娘惹，伊班人，達雅族和卡達山族。

[Localah]的色調取自馬來西亞國旗，再微調出視覺上無違和感的一系列色版，以達到和諧的視覺呈現。
