If you want your renders to look realistic you have to compare them to real items. Just the physical dimensions are not enough. In real life there are no sharp edges on objects so make sure you "fillet" all edges to realistic proportions before final rendering.
Sharp edges look "unreal" and let your render look unreal as well.
Sharp edges "feel" unnatural as can be seen down here. Look at the unreal glass pane on the left.
Just adding that small fillet on edges will give the edge a highlight. Compare left and right drawer as well as the glass pane in front of the right drawer. Same for the cube glass item on top.
Small difference but big impact !!!
