Completely updated responsive design and moved to Ektron (.NET) CMS
Summary - Oversaw the development, management, and administration of the official City of Racine internet and intranet websites; conversion from Ektron to EpiServer CMS; performed professional web development work, including content strategy and keyword tag analysis.
Mock-ups - Created low fidelity mock-ups of user interfaces in Balsamiq and/or Photoshop for quick review and editing by stakeholders.
Mark-up - Developed front-end responsive web design and landing pages using Bootstrap and custom HTML5/CSS3 to help improve the user experience on the desktop as well as mobile devices.
Graphic Design - Created custom user interface icons using tools such as Illustrator and Photoshop as well as Font Awesome (fontawesome.io).
Workflow - Successfully implemented a development workflow (SDLC) for reviewing, approving, documenting processes, and tracking work, that previously did not exist in the department, as well as integrating Git into the workflow for version control.
CMS Templates - Developed ASP.NET templates programmed using C# and .NET 4.0 framework and combined custom databound controls connecting SQL Server databases (queries, stored procedures) to the web user interface (ListView, GridView, custom user controls).
Version Control - Set up and maintained source control system using Git and Team Foundation Server for code distribution, serving as a backup.
