Tasken is a successful tech company in the debt collection market, and Sowee has helped them build their new positioning of innovation and leadership a few years ago (see the full story in this case)
After a few years working together, Tasken presented Sowee with a new challenge: launching a mobile app that would disrupt the collection market in allowing the debtor to consult and negotiate his debts on his smartphone - no more stress and paperwork.
Tasken had already developed most of the technology, but Sowee would be in charge of the user experience, website design, market positioning, visual identity, sales pitch, ad campaign, presentation materials and launch strategy. On top of that, we also came up with a case for submission in an important innovation award.
The biggest challenge was the audience: Tasken usually offers services to other companies (B2B), but the Debt App is focused on the end-user (B2C). To understand exactly who we're dealing with, we did a study of the public and created a modern brand that had the look and feel of a cool startup - not a bank or a debt collection agency. The results were fantastic, and the launch was a success.
As early as the first month the app had thousands of downloads, Tasken partnered with major financial institutions, and Debt got a lot of recognition in the media. And to top it off, it won the Best Performance Award for innovation in the collection market!
