I standardized Office of Human Resource’s (OHR's) emails to match our University Relations (our University-wide marketing department's) brand standards, using University Relations' templated headers and footers and adding our own OHR unique banners and graphics (and occasionally animation) to give them their own look while still maintaining the overall University brand. Ive also applied best practices to text versions of our emails, grouping and creating sections--sometimes using ascii characters to create borders for greater readability. Emails are tested across the most commonly-used email clients/readers.
