CONCEPT
In 2018 Vans of the wall moved the HQ into a new one in Costa Mesa (California).
I decided with this work to create an Iconic edition of SK8-HI inspired by the beginning of the skateboarding history,
when skateboarding inside empty pools was illegal because nobody was building a skatepark.
I putted some characteristic Californian elements like the palms, the iron wire mesh and the skateboard mixed with the new trends of 3D elements and with the background gradient of the Los Angeles sky.

I wanted to improve my 3D skills in modelling, texturing and UV mapping and that's why I choosen a model of SK8-HI.
