Abdali Mall wanted to offer the best customer experience through architecture, hospitality and technology.
Our solution was a brand identity that was dynamic and vibrant. We developed a language that treated it's customers as guests not visitors. The logo mark is a playful expression of the letter 'A'. The visual language has a wide colour palette and flexible creative usage. The graphic language includes lines used to separate information horizontally and diagonally, this was applied to small scale printed collateral to large car park graphics.
The bespoke hospitality hub is based on the curved corners and diagonal angles of the logo mark. It defies conventional notions of the information desk by breaking the customer/staff barrier and providing a home-base for the mall’s ‘hospitality ambassadors’. Wayfinding information is delivered via hand-held tablets running a bespoke app. Tablets are used in leu of large touch screens as they can serve more visitors simultaneously and allow for a more intimate and personal approach.
