Every culture has its own unique desserts that tell the story about what makes that country or region tick. I created Sweet + Savor as a place where people can go to learn about new cultures and their desserts, through recipes, personal experiences, travel guides and recommendations. I want readers to be transported in their own kitchens and be inspired to plan their own trips to places they haven’t considered or thought possible to travel to themselves. Life is sweet, savor it!
I created Sweet + Savor as a creative outlet aside from design and to share my love of travel and global eats. While blogging is way harder than I anticipated, I’ve learned a lot over the past 4 years and picked up loads of new skills. Running a blog is way more than just content creation, it’s also digital marketing, web and WordPress design, social media planning and marketing, SEO, web analytics, building a community, and leveling up photography.
