Week 1 Process

Week 2 Process

This week I focused on layouts. From the tutorial last week I took my previous knowledge of Adobe Indesign as well as techniques taught during the tut and I researched and practiced creating mock-ups, focusing on the relationship between the images and text. 

Week 3 Process

During this week I began to search and collect un-credited images that could possibly be used within the final magazine. I also researched and collected inspiration/ideas for the cover. From there I began to design and put together pages for the milestone this week. 

Week 4 Process 

This weeks goal was to each complete the minimum 8 pages for 1 of the 4 feature articles. I focused on one restaurant 'The Frenchie Bristo'. From their I came up with 3 article idea that would show the reader how a successful restaurant can be achieved. Thats why I chose the article above, each shows how the restaurant began and how to transformed into a well branded business that all design is consistently shown across and throughout physical design (interior) and visual design (graphic). 

Week 5 Process 

This week we focused on combing all our individual 12 pages into one indesign document to make the final magazine. We than as a group design the front cover and than continued to work on filler pages. After all pages were in the indesign document I went through to insure all column were the same, all spaces were the same and every element was aligned correctly.
