Background:
Vietnam's recent economic gains have been accompanied by rapid urbanisation, unemployment and homelessness. This has forced many families and children to migrate to citires in search of a " better life" - often putting children at risk of abuse and exploitation. However, the income and consumption gap between the porest and the richest quintile of the population has been widening ever since market based economic reforms began a decade ago.
Concep:
The aim of this project is to produce a series of images that portray variety of children who are, in reality, living under difficult circumstances (i.e. street children or from poor backgrounds), in scenes that represent their future dreams and aspirations - e.g. to be able to go to school, to be a teacher, a doctor, etc.
Objective:
- To share my perspective regrading Vietnamese children- To encourage individual children to keep studying- To help prevent the exploitation of these children- Bring hope to children in difficult circumstances- To raise funds in an effort to provide financial support.GoogleYouTube
