I designed this concept to simplify branding for the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, taking inspiration from an earlier project I had done while at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. I opted for a simplified design that suggested not only the garden's famous blossoms, but also an enclosed community space, and the startups and small businesses that have come to define the Brooklyn economy.

I opted to suggest the name The Brooklyn Garden instead of retaining the Brooklyn Botanic Garden name to differentiate it from similar spaces, such as the New York Botanical Garden; and to highlight its proximity to The Brooklyn Museum.

The header fonts are Raleway. The body fonts are Crimson Text.
