I know... a Little Red Riding Hood, again :)
Children's Book

Just after I had the chance to have my "Little Red Boubou" project featured in the Illustration Gallery of Behance (an African version of the famous tale, with baobabs, giraffes, and a big leopard), I was contacted by IlluSalon to illustrate a more traditional and European version of the Little Red Riding Hood.

I add to come up with new ideas, it was a challenge as this tale has been illustrated so many times, and by so very talented illustrators, but I enjoyed myself a lot.

Here you can see 6 double-pages from the 24 illustrated pages of this book which will be released in China in October 2017.

Once her Grandmother gave her a little cap of red velvet, which suited her so well that she would never wear anything else.
Just as Little Red Riding Hood entered the wood, a wolf met her.
This illustration will be used for the cover.
Little Red Riding Hood raised her eyes, and she saw the sunbeams dancing here and there through the trees, and pretty flowers growing everywhere.
'Oh! Grandmother,' she said, 'what big ears you have!'
'Oh! but, Grandmother, what a terrible big mouth you have!'
The huntsman was just passing the house, and thought to himself: 'How the old woman is snoring! I must just see if she wants anything.'
The huntsman took a pair of scissors, and began to cut open the stomach of the sleeping wolf.
