Today, Tomorrow
I always loved to draw, draft something that caught my attention or came to my imagination. A draft is something uncertain and undefinite, a test for the drawing itself. We can erase it and do it again until we like it.
I was inspired for my project though this idea, not only to create an association between Photography and Drawing, but also to transmit the idea of something uncertain, such as the future.
I drew on top of the photo, only in the space that involves the person that I represent in that image, for although the space changes radically, the person that is on the image won't change.
Like a draft that can be erased, and is constantly in mutation, the space can also acquire that feature. It changes as our life goes by, creating an idea of uncertainty and doubt, just like our future.
All of my friends represented in these images have doubts about their future. Where am I going? What shall I do next? Am I in the right path?
There are still no answers to these questions, but there is the certainty that there will be a change in the present, that can be erased and redrawn at any moment.
