Phus - Fhus Deodrant
This advertisement is about people who are ignorant about their body odor. Especially
people traveling in the train where everyone is stuck together. Some of us perspire a lot
and are still ignorant about it. We need to be more hygienic in taking care of ourselves.
Some dont have a bath for days and end up smelly. It becomes difficult for people
around you to get along.
We get blinded by our own habits and don't want to get out of it. We start getting lazy
to think differently. Taking things for granted wont help you in doing any good.
If you smell good people would love to be next to you. It would make you feel much
more confident .
Its just thinking of it in another way that does not agree with us. Such a stinky attitude
needs to be sprayed with Phus-Fhus Deodorant.
Execution
I started with different splashes that had a flow of the deodorant . I made a
cut out of a deo can with paper and used it as a stamp besides it.
As I kept drawing the figures I was trying to make them in a pose that showed them
disgusted with their body odor.
Spitting Lota
It's the worst habit known to spread filth and pollute the environment. It's the best
example to show ignorance in people. Spoiling walls and dirtying the city seems so
normal people have got used to it. It has become a part and parcel of their daily
lives to spit in every nook and corner.
Some people find it amusing to eat ghutka and spit all over not only killing them selves
but also spreading diseases among everyone else.
A desperate change in the peoples thoughts are required.
Spitting Lotta gives people a reason not to spit on walls and roads. People need a reason
to believe in to change their ways.
So Spitting Lotta gives people exactly that reason to spit in it in style.
Even littering the city is caused due to our ignorant behavior. If we do our part in not
throwing things around and putting it in the dust bin would make a big difference but as
one of clean Mumbai posters said “Its your attitude that stinks more than the garbage”.
So I introduced a special offer of a Kachrapatti Dustbin free with every spitting lotta kit.
Execution
I made my friend to eat pan and got him a whit paper to spit on. I started outlining
the spit at first I then started drawing figures in different spitting positions in the spit
Naya Time ( Watches & Clocks )
Time is one of the main reason to give excuses in our daily lives. Most of us fail
to be on time. Taking everything for granted and doing everything in their own time.
Not caring about any one else around them stretching things in their own time .
This seems so common its like a virus spreading amongst everyone.
No one finds the urge to be on time and finish things on time .
Some of us have our own definition of time like, they would say “2min”
but take their own sweet time.
Some of us say things are going to be done but never end up doing it
like “karunga” and “ho jayega”.
Some of us directly neglect time by saying “kisko time hai?“, “kal karte hai” and
“kya jaldi hai?”
The caption says “nayi soch ka naya time” which shows the need for a change
in the changing times in which people gave more respect to time.
Execution
I carved a clock shape in a potato and used it like a stamp to show watches all over .
I then illustrated human figures in them . Some figures are in a hurry ‘cause of being
late some are relaxed and don't care.
Dharti Ki Batti
Global warming is the result of our negligence .We have taken the worlds natural
resources for granted and done everything to fulfill our needs .Even a simple thing
like putting an eco bulb in your house for saving energy seems unnecessary and a
waste of time .
Avoiding small details and acting like nothings going to affect us has all pilled up,
affecting the eco system .
The caption in the advertisement says “batti la bijli bacha” which shows how simple
it is to save energy . Batti also refers to an idea which needs to be brought into our
heads to bring about a change in us as well as in nature .
People tend to think nothing is really their problem unless it directly affects them.
They keep saying “kaunsa duniya bachne wala hai”. Some ignorant ones are like
“kisko time hai?”. Everyone wants to be in their own world and don't really care
what happens in the real world.
Execution
I used a container to splash the colour on the paper . Then blew the splashes with
a straw giving it much more lines so that I get more people. I made the eco bulb on
another paper and stuck it to it . Many lines around the splash helped me show more
people . The logo has a very retro feel to it cause it sound very retro.
Dhinchak Clothings
Our personal appearance some times does not mean much to us at times. Some of us
drag ourselves in the same kind of attire everyday. The way you present your self also
shows the interest one has towards things. Some wear good clothes but don't treat them
right by sitting anywhere and stuffing it in the cupboard.
This client mainly is to show our interest in life ‘cause of which we need to give more
importance to details . Not caring about yourself thinking no one will notice is not the
answer, its time to change into something new and be noticed.
Criticizing others is not a solution to make yourself feel good. We must take an initiative
in trying to make ourselves presentable. Pointing fingers at others will only make you
prolong your same attitude . Looking good will make you feel good and help you
have a positive attitude.
Execution
I splashed some colours on a paper and folded it getting a symmetrical effect.
I then found the main central figure in it, which is wearing Dinchak Clothings .Then started
to draw the figures around it facing in different directions.
I used bright colours to show the identity of the client(Dinchak Clothings).
Dhapnya Optical Center
Some time we get so lazy and ignorant we don't give importance to even
ourselves. Everything seems good the way it is. Some of us make fun of ourselves
to lighten things up. They wont change their ways and will just get used to their
insults . Some will believe in anything to avoid wearing spectacles or anything else
They get so stuck with their own view of things that they get offended with any other
remarks.
Lazyness again cause them to say things like “kaun magjhmari karega”.
The ignorant ones are like “chal na” , “let it be” .
The caption says “deakhne ka naya najariya” which again shows the need to change
peoples point of view. A need to see things in a different way for not necessarily doing
the right thing but to learn from the wrong things done and admitting the mistakes done.
Execution
I used the back of a poster colour bottle to get the spectacles effect. I then let the colour
drip forming lines all over. Some of the figures are wearing specs one has removed his
specs trying to avoid it. Some of the figures are straining their eyes sitting close to the
computer.
