Simple Beauty
A casual beauty project with friends and local talents
During the last weeks of July, I starting thinking about broadening my portfolio by doing some beauty work. I wanted the work to be of high production value but I didn't have enough budget for a shoot like that. So I made some calls and planned a full day shoot with some friends and a very talented make-up artist I happened to meet a few weeks before.

The shoot took 8 hours and the editing took around 60 hours. Most of the time spent on Photoshop was mainly to compensate for the lack of equipment. We had one background and one light to work with. For this shoot I used a 22 inches beauty dish and reflected it back with a round silver reflector in front of the model.

Hope you enjoy my first beauty project and feel free to post a comment and let me know what you think about the project as a whole.
