n 2016 through mid-2017, I worked at MarianaTek, a boutique fitness software start-up in Washington, DC. We created web and mobile apps as studio management software for clients who ran fitness studios around the world. Our admin-facing software guided the day-to-day life in the studio like managing employees, checking reports, and running fitness classes. The iOS app seamlessly synced with the admin software, so customers of these studios could check class schedules, manage their profiles, and reserve their spots within a class.

As the product designer, I worked in a collaborative environment with product managers, developers, and stakeholders. Each two-week sprint focused around the creation of features for our apps. Since I was in a fast-paced start up, Lean UX played an important role in my design process. I worked a sprint ahead of the engineering team to document ideations and flows, sketch, and design the software features.
