YRBS “Violence is real” Infographics
2016 PR Ragan Award Winner

The infographic highlights the disproportionate rates of violence reported among sexual minority youth. CDC was compelled to share this important data in an engaging and informative manner. Upon release, the infographics were extremely well received and propelled CDC into the national conversation about violence among sexual minorities and the need for trans inclusivity in data findings.
Cardiff Violence Prevention Model

The Cardiff Violence Prevention Model provides a way for communities to gain a clearer picture about where violence is occurring by combining and mapping both hospital and police data on violence.  In addition to leading the overall branding effort, Banyan produced a suite of materials including fact sheets, brochures, and infographics.

Through a contract under the American Institutes of Research (AIR), Banyan produced an infographic in support of the launch of ViiV Healthcare’s ACCELERATE! initiative, a four-year, $10 million initial investment to fuel a concerted community response to the HIV epidemic among Black Men who have Sex with Men (MSM) in Baltimore, Maryland and Jackson, Mississippi, two U.S. cities hard hit by HIV/AIDS.

Adverse Childhood Experiences
Online Infographic to Underscore Negative Impact of Abuse

Using data collected from the landmark Kaiser ACE Study – which examined relationships between these experiences during childhood and reduced health and well-being later in life – the infographic visually depicts who participated in the study, the number of ACEs had among study participants, the different types of ACEs, their economic toll and the effect they have on our society.

Clean Hands Count is a CDC Foundation initiative designed to improve hand hygiene adherence among health care providers in U.S. healthcare settings. This includes an education and empowerment campaign, launching on Hand Hygiene Day in 2016.
