RESFERIC POSTER

Very happy with this commission, a poster for RESFERIC.People who support and work to make live music possible, bringing groups and risky & different proposals to Valencia.
From the first moment I decided to do something very direct, fun, electric.I had a character in the head for years, which is a kind of hairy dinosaur with robot body parts, and I was great for this proposal, I drew it playing the bass and with a lot of pedals of effects around it, something with a lot of energy, mixing the animal, technology, old and new, adding a point of madness and electricity,
I think it defines very well the RESFERIC proposal because RESFERIC it is a mixture of many musical styles, it is an open and quality proposal , fun and ambitious musically.
I'm really enjoying drawing directly in pencil, very happy with the result and the lively and personal aesthetics I want for my work. Then I have already worked in Photoshop with the colors and textures.
To give power to the poster I thought of drawing a red ray falling from the sky and exploding on the ground, dividing the poster in half, which would put all the information about schedules and groups.
I like the old posters and the details and mistakes of printing, Trying to obtain that point "vintage",
I think that adds personality to the poster.

Muy contento con el encargo de este cartel para RESFERIC.
Gente que apoya y trabaja para que la música en directo sea posible, trayendo grupos y propuestas arriesgadas y diferentes a Valencia.
Desde el primer momento me propuse hacer algo muy directo, divertido, eléctrico.
Tenía un personaje en la cabeza desde hace años, que es una especie de dinosaurio peludo con partes de cuerpo de robot, y me venía genial para esta propuesta, lo dibujé tocando el bajo y con un montón de pedales de efectos a su alrededor, algo con mucha energía, mezclando lo animal, la tecnología, lo viejo y lo nuevo, añadiendo un punto de locura y electricidad, creo que define muy bien la propuesta de RESFERIC porque es una mezcla de muchos estilos musicales, es una propuesta abierta y de calidad, divertida y ambiciosa musicalmente.
Estoy disfrutando mucho de dibujar directamente a lápiz, muy contento con el resultado y con la estética viva y personal que quiero para mis trabajos. después ya trabajo en Photoshop con los colores y texturas.
Para darle potencia al cartel pensé en dibujar un rayo rojo cayendo del cielo y estallando en el suelo, partiendo el cartel por la mitad, en la cual pondría toda la información de horarios y grupos.
Me gusta la cartelería antigua y los detalles y fallos de imprenta de antes, intentando conseguir ese punto "vintage", creo que le aporta personalidad al cartel.
