This project was carried out under the discipline of Project III with the objective of being designed in the cathedral of Faro, Algarve. Our concept was based on the notion of the rhythm of music, what can make us feel, and how we react. In fact, the forms, and the visual dimension are important for music. That is why our inspiration was originated in abstract forms and, consequently, abstractionism, more concretely the geometric, in addition to the expressionist, among others. We were inspired in artists as Kandinsky, Mondrian, Malevich, Theo van Doesburg, Calder, and Bauhaus. Our goal was to illustrate music and rhythm to geometric and abstract patterns. We are much touched by the spontaneity of gestures and forms, and how visually the images can ow around music. This is also one of the ideas of abstractionism. Therefore, we wanted a dynamic in terms of the geometric effects that are encountered at each rhythm.
