Adobe Spark Page Documenting Our Process: https://spark.adobe.com/page/GKu663mX4q7ce/
Our goal in the project is to find out how to make a smartphone user interface easier for the older adult population ages 55+. To accomplish this goal, we first conducted user research in real-life contexts with several methods: benchmarking, interviews, and surveys. Then we created working prototypes for user testing. We tested the prototypes with our peers, made changes, and are now ready to test the prototypes with our target users: adults over 55.
Each of us focused on a different aspect of the core issues. Blair focused on the tutorials and Amber focused on the customization of the home screen. Working prototypes were created in Adobe XD. Both used design elements that would address the small touch points issue.

The next phase of the project will be to conduct user testing by having people in the 55+ demographic try to complete the tasks. Our goal will be to then combine the two different aspects on the same UI.
