These are detail renders of the titled lamp. I wanted to get a lot of detail but keep the simplicty of the lamp. These were rendered using modo 501's new preview option with extended refinement passes. It really provides super fast results and a very organic noise field. There were lots of things to bog the render down, but about 5-10 minutes on a MacPro 3,1 8 Core is all it took to clean up for blurry reflections, blurry refractions, dispersion, dof, area lights, Monte Carlo.
