Matsaken is a device that heats the water when cooking sous vide. One part is put into the vessel that holds the water, and the other part is used to control the temperature of the water.

The intention of this project was to take a tool or technique from the professional kitchen and incorporate it in a domestic counterpart.

This project was done 2014 at HDK - Academy of Design and Crafts in Gothenburg.
