For this series of photos I decided to use Ultra violet paint and black lights to create interesting scenes for a product advertisement. I chose to advertise Nike Sports and more specifically a soccer ball advertisement. By using fluorescent paint we splatter painted a model and painted the Nike swoosh on the soccer ball in order to draw attention to the brand. With the use of watered down paint we used the lines created on the ball from the paint dripping down the side to add an interesting arrangement of color and contrast. The complication of this series came from having to use continuous black lighting and a combination of strobes as fill lights. This added a dynamic of having to adjust camera settings accordingly to produce the best images for the lighting set up.
