For the first image I followed the tutorial for the most part except I already knew my desired outcome before going into the tutorial when I choose the graffiti scene. One of the problems I encountered was after placing a pattern overlay on the text I couldn't change it's position any longer.

For the second image I knew I wanted my cologne bottle to have a simplistic design and went from there settling on the color blue.
