The design inspiration is the SlutWalk. SlutWalk is a trans national movement of protest marches calling for an end to rape culture. Specifically, participants protest against explaining or excusing rape by referring to any aspect of a woman's appearance.The rallies began at 2011 in canada, after a tronto police officer suggested that: "women should avoid dressing like sluts”.
The transparent material emphasizes the importance of the internal. In contrast to the external, and is trying to encourage people to dress as they wish without having to hide behind masks.The bag allows everyone to see the objects it contains, there is no place to hide “What you see is what you get”.
