The Ronbun font has been designed for the visual identity of 'Knees to Chin', a restaurant that offers a range of delicious Vietnamese rice paper rolls.
In Japanese, 'ronbun' literally means 'paper cut'. The design of this font emerged from the idea of cutting characters out of a piece of paper.
The result is a bold, charismatic, yet simple typeface with a quarky twist. Its simplicity resides in its straightforward character construction while its 'uneven' letter cuts convey an original and playful feel. The 'Ronbun' also exists in an 'outlined' version.
