The primary aim of the design concept is to create an extraordinary living experience in a vacation house and to embrace the remarkable seaside location. In consonance with this aim, A design decision was taken to liberate the house organization from the conventional interpretations/traditions of the house design in Kuwait. This took place in the playfulness of the walls lines’, and the glass wall which celebrates a panoramic view of the extended horizon line of water and sky, framing the picturesque scenery with a dramatic roof overhang. The internal court creates a private environment to be enjoyed by the two sides of the chalet and maximizes the opportunity for both wings to enjoy the views of the court, and the sea from different angles of the vacation house. Along with the rest of the design, all of the above led to an outcome that, we believe, will stand out in the beach area of Al Khiran.
