A comic series I'm working on, inspired by my fellow travellers in the service industry, co-authored with Chef Robert Kochanowski. All of these are based on at least real gibberish, if not actual events. No cutlery, or dishware was harmed in this comics creation. 

Completed sketches are separated, composited to their backgrounds in photoshop, and given some light retouching, and color corrected. I go for a style and treatment I found from looking through my uncles old comic collection from the 1950's.

The figures are given their physical expression in the blocking out stage. I build up the figure in layers, usually on a tan toothy paper. This lets me sketch in lighting as well as shadows. It also gives me a tint to adjust in photoshop.
