Digital / Experiential Campaign for the Low Birth Rate in Greece

Our proposal for the Eurobest Young Creatives Competition was a digital/experiential campaign about the Low Birth Rate Problem in Greece, for the Ministry of Health. We had to raise awareness and persuade millennials to have a baby through a fun and unexpected twist.
Our campaign would be launched with a youtube video about the alleged extinction of storks in Greece.  The next step would take place on the 1st February, a day we declared as the National Save a Stork Day. On this day, a Google Doodle would appear all over Greece, presenting some very… interesting ways to save a stork and inviting users to support #saveastork campaign on Social Media by posing like a stork, creating a trending topic for awareness.
Save a Stork Campaign’s peak point would be on 14th February at Thiseio, a millennial hot spot in Athens, where promoters would stop unaware couples to talk about storks’ extinction. Instead, they would inform them about the real problem and five couples would win a stay at the Grand Bretagne Hotel… to save a stork.
