PROBLEM

I was tasked with taking the alphabet and experimentally modifying the letters. The only limitation was to craft each of the letters in a semi-similar fashion so that they would appear to be a cohesive family.

SOLUTION

My desire was to push the boundaries of when a letter becomes legible by playing with 3-Dimensional space and paper cutouts. The font was based on the original designs of Adrian Frutiger's Univers 59 Ultra Condensed.
