Idea
Igis, one of the leading Lithuanian manufacturers of putties, primers and paints decided to refresh its visual identity along with the whole packaging range. After the revamp, two essential attributes were to remain: red colour for the Igis logo and the brand tagline “For serious work”.
Igis clients are mostly construction firms and professionals implementing interior and exterior decoration. The brand new packaging needs to communicate the manufacturer’s competence, quality and reliability.
Design
Most competitors’ products sold in store are bright, colourful and rich in details. That’s why Igis went with functional, constructive, minimal packaging design. The new cohesive and adaptable packaging system was applied to 68 different products from different categories.
The Igis brand visibility was increased as well as the essential functional information. The predominant grey colour used in the packaging conveys competence and professionalism. Colour details help to differentiate the large Igis product range: brighter colours for paint products and more
In all packaging applications, Igis logo always remains grey with only coloured detail in the letter G. However, for all Igis corporate brand identity, there is the burgundy logo version to differentiate product packaging from corporate branding.
