Sezamme is a small design studio opened by Daria Glushkova & Dasha Shiian in 2015 in Kaliningrad, Russia. We are best friends and both studied design and painting at Baltic University, and have always shared each other’s art tastes. We wanted to express our design and artistic vision through beautiful and tactile objects. We’ve made up a name and logo for our studio and started to work.
As a design studio, we created logos, identities, stylish wedding stationery, postcards, illustrations, lettering, and etc.
First, we've designed a collection of hand-drawn and printed greeting cards and sell them in local souvenir shops, fashion showrooms and craft markets.
The project has developed fast and we dropped several new collections of postcards, designer notebooks and specialized sketchbooks for designers and illustrators with special paper for sketching and watercolour works.
Sezamme studio was invited to perform creative workshops during the annual art event «Museum night» at Kaliningrad Art Museum. We have created fascinating collages with the guests and shared the different mixed-media technics.

During the year we have collaborated with several local brands and designed logos & visual identities for them. We made about 10 successful projects for local Kaliningrad businesses.
One of our collections of hand-drawn greeting cards is dedicated to the Spring holidays. It was printed with gold foil and looked very solemn.
Here are some examples of our handmade wedding identity that was inspired by the Kaliningrad region, its history and its mystical Baltic nature and Curonian Spit (nature reserve)
