With this image I wanted to create a dreamy space where the viewer can't quite depict where the subject is located. She is on a swing hanging from an unknown source. The image was inspired by the painting with the same name even though there is no cupid or male gaze. I created a mask using plastic wrap to juxtapose with the gown. The subject is beautiful but her identity is hidden. The background was created in Photoshop, with pieces of a tree coming through. I wanted to create a movement with the texture that is almost like a living wallpaper.
