This week I drew a crushed soda can. The main focus was to create volume and show shadows and draw exactly what you see. Drawing the can when crushed is more fun than drawing a regular one. This assignment was a little challenging, however, I did turn the can at different angles. As a result of moving the can, I found an angle I liked and proceeded to this final drawing. Creating the shadows was a little tricky as well when it comes to getting the right ones. I used charcoal, number two pencil and a graphite pencil.
