For the inauguration exhibition of the Mode & Design Museum (MAD) in Brussels, the work of Annelys de Vet is featured. She composed a special MARKET, at the invitation of the curators Walter Bettens, Siegrid Demytteneare and Kurt Vanbelleghem.

MARKET is an artistic and social statement about current urgencies in the design practice, where designers design more contextual and relational. They are not focused on ‘the things in itself’ but on the cycles of things. With MARKET de Vet wants to show what makes a society resilient, and thus, hopes to contribute to a critical awareness of the position of the designer.

For each of the 9 projects on the market, I made an infographic glass drawing, revealing the making process of each object on sale. The drawings made a connection between the market inside and the street outside, catching people's attention outside and revealing the making process to the ones inside.
