This work explores the limits between the physical biological body and the technology through the communication between physical and virtual reality. The reflection is widely used in visual art. The idea came from the need of the dancers to look at themselves while practicing. In painting is used also - if you look at your drawing in a mirror, you can see the mistakes better. For us, artists, art is a reflection of our inner life and a way to materialize our ideas.
The segments present the different view points we can have at the same situation. The moment with the moving away mirror symbolizes that if we chase something in life too much, it runs away, and if we let things be, they come to us.
For the connection between the dancer and the visual environment is bilt through a web-cam, infrared distance sensor and accelerometer. The cam is made like mirror - it reflects the scene, but the dancer can manipulate those with movement. It is real time effects in the video.
