"Bête Noire" is the title of the project I made for Mercedes Fashion Week Madrid 2018. Fashion students from my college will be exposing their works in the next year Fashion Week, so I had to propose the graphic content for the advertising campaign. The concept around the 2018 Fashion Week is Frankenstein, as a tribute for the 100 years since Mary Shelley wrote the book. My inspirations are the photographer and designer Nicholas Allan Cope, and also the Karsh Festival. The idea is based on the black cloths used by the students to design their collections, and the dark atmosphere is quite close to the book's concept.
*** UPDATE: Finally, this work was selected as the main identity of ESNE at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. You can see some pictures about that below the project. ***

It looked like this in the beginning, a morning photoshoot at home:
Finally the project was selected as the main identity of ESNE at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. They proposed their own naming, so I had to re-adapt texts and logos. Here is a little sample of what they printed and used:
And finally, for the last exhibition event, ESNE made a different version using magenta/pink instead of the original yellow, so the design could suit the look of the room.
Hope you liked it,
and thanks for watching!
