Inspired by War of the Worlds, this LED table lamp is made from sustainable palm fronds form the Phoenix canariensis palm tree. 

Using the petiole part of the palm frond gave the inspiration of transforming something so organic and natural into a functional piece of art. After sorting and finding the perfect shape for the light, it's cleaned and the final shape is ready to be finished. A light danish oil is applied to the surface and sealed with polyurethane.

Light and ambience is controlled with a dimmer touch switch with memory.
