The true value of word of mouth
Activia is a brand of yogurt owned by Danone Group which is sold in more than 30 countries worldwide.
The way of spreading the message was the interaction of a marketing mix conformed by online marketing, social media, print media, TV spot, radio spot.

The challege was to develop an online platform in order to promote a testimonial storm confronting this way people who are fans of the brand with people who didn’t know the brand within the Swiss Market.

Our success
We created an interactive platform in which ACTIVIA’s consumers were able to become active by giving a testimonial explanation of why ACTIVIA was their yogurt Nr.1Users were challenged and motivated to accumulate points in order to be in the top 20 users and participate for a Lexus GT, a personal trainer and other small prizes

They were able to share their testimonials in Facebook and Twitter and obtain points for every person who voted for them. At the same time they participate in different challenges in order to generate extra points, within the challenges we got a group of many people together with a spoon in their hands and an ACTIVIA yogurt and smiling!

Other users started to send invitations per E-Mail or becoming very active in social media promoting the contest, the brand and themselves in order to be in the Top 20 and this way started to collect points.
