Can a minimal structure fascinate with ever-changing morphologies?
Karma is the outcome of a metadesign research whose brief asked to design a moving spatial structure. It does not have a function: it is an exploration of formal generation processes.
Two cotton strings join the essentiality of a steel structure, the neatness of traditional folded paper, and the hands of the user. This direct connection turns Karma into a breathing creature, creating suggestive fluctuations of light and shadows.

Karma was selected for exhibition at 2012 Zhu Hangzhou International Design Festival.White Horse Lake Convention and Exhibition Center - Hangzhou, China
8-15 October 2012
