—— Blade of Evolution
In 2012, after leaving OgilvyOne Beijing, I intend to hold a solo exhibition called "Blade of Evolution". but not finish later .

During that time I read two books which made me very impressive. One is Darwin's "Origin of Species",another is a Dan Simmons's work "Hyperion". Although Darwin's theory has been questioned, it is interesting to read that book.

"Hyperion" is also a very classic science fiction masterpiece. In this book, A artificial intelligence monster called Shrike, the big sorrow of the king. The Shrike Is a steel by the sharp edges of the thorns throughout the body, like hanging the body in the thorns of trees.

Probably these two books let me have a "Blade of Evolution " idea. I fictional a brutal world made up of sharp edges, all creatures disguised themselves into a thorny jungle, contact with the voice of the golden ears of sharp ears.

This world view should follow some certain evolutionary rules. Like Asimov and his robot three law the same. So I adapted some of the "Origin of Species" in the remarks, given the rules in this world.

2012年，大概是离开奥美之后比较闲的一段时间，打算举办的一个个展，叫《进化的利刃》。后来搁浅了。
那段时间看了两本书，给我很深的影响。一本是达尔文的《Origin of Species》，也就是物种起源，一本是丹西蒙斯的的作品《Hyperion》。尽管达尔文的理论屡遭质疑，但那本书读起来的确是很有意思。《Hyperion》同样是一部很经典的科幻史诗巨著。丹西蒙斯在里面虚构了一个叫伯劳鸟的人工智能怪兽，也就是书中的所说的大哀之君。是一个由钢铁利刃构成的荆棘遍布全身、喜欢把尸体挂在荆棘树上的生物。
大概是这两本书让我产生了“利刃星球”的想法。我虚构了一个由利刃构成的残酷世界，所有的生物都把自己伪装成成一片荆棘的丛林，接触之时金戈之声尖锐入耳。这个世界观应当符合一定的进化规则。就像是阿西莫夫和他的机器人三定律一样。所以我改编了《Origin of Species》中的一些言论，赋予规则于这个世界。这也是《进化的利刃》这组作品的由来
